Temple Quest part 4: Save the World (in NYC?!)
December 14, 2008Ok, so I gotta admit. I don’t have much of a clue what’s going on with this one. I’ll fill in the details here once it goes down, but I can only imagine that it’s gonna be totally Amazing – with a capital A, see.
Here’s what I know:
The Sainted One recovers from her visit inside the temple and makes her way to the drummer. They get into it because, apparently, something is “out there” that could make the “world fall apart” and, seeing as how she’s beelined to New York, that something that is out there must be there.
Now, rumor is, this something is a cylinder (or possibly a tin can) and some guy (or possibly goat) named Art has his hands on it. He’s gonna be hanging out at the Eagles & Prey statue in Central Park at 10:00 AM on Friday (as in tomorrow!!!). I don’t know all that much about this Art guy, but I do know that The Sainted One isn’t doing so hot these days and could use all the help she could get. So, if you’re going to be in the area, I might suggest you head on over there and keep you eye out for a guy that looks like this and a really hot goth chick about this high with long dark hair.
And please everyone, do the Sainted One a favor and leave all the techy toys at home. (you’ll be doing yourself a favor, too… if she gets excited, zap! there goes the hard drive). Oh, and unless you want her worrying about you all day, bring a pair of extra socks. Looks like we’re in for some crappy weather. Sucks.

Hahahaha awesome rendition of the quest. Like actually, that was an awesome read. Props dude. And I love the webcam/mic thing. Absolutely hilarious. If/when you make it, please try to include that.
As for the NYC biz… not sure. There’s going to be some folks in town on Friday, and it has something to do with some cylinders that will make bad things happen if opened. No idea how many cylinders there are or what will happen if they’re opened, but there’s at least 2, maybe 3. That’s all I’ve got for now.

If all goes well, I’ll be there Friday. Hopefully we’ll get a little more information so that I’m not just randomly driving around the city in the middle of the day looking completely lost.
okay so props for making an effort to go see BA last weekend, even if it didn’t work out. I heard roundabout that some bad stuff went down last winter, and I’m sorry for that, but also glad that you are back on the case now…
SO, I guess you know by now that everyone and his uncle are converging on NYC this Friday — supposedly BA is all hot to trot to get her delicate fingers on this evil cylinder thing that was taken from the temple and that could lead to some bad stuff if not returned properly-like. So long story short, she is likely to need more help, so guess what that means? A Second Chance for You! Yay, i know you are excited.

Ah. Missed that whole Eagles and Prey thing. Saw the Eagle. And a dude that needs to iron his shirt. I can’t believe his momma let’s him out of the house like that!
